Honda Supports Young Athletes

Let's face it, even today, Baseball is considered one of America's greatest past times. As such, its hard to believe that some children today do not have access to the sport, either to watch or play. It may or may not have been a part of your childhood to play on that little league or softball team, but hopefully you at least had the chance. Honda has discovered today that many children are…

Honda Environmental Efforts Paying Off

Saying Honda was ahead of its time was an understatement.  Back in 1992, they issued the "Honda Environmental Statement", which outlined its plan to proactively preserve the environment.   Recycling and conservation of materials was at the heart of the plan - from product conception to production.  To improve transparency Honda started releasing annual environmental reports, which survey the impact their operations have across the North American Region. On January 23 2012, Honda released their latest findings from 2011. Red River Honda is happy to say, Honda's painstaking attention to detail is paying off.

2013 Honda Civic Upgrades

The 2012 Honda Civic was received well by most of its drivers.  However, the Japanese auto maker decided to fix some of its drawbacks in the 2013 variant.

Some of the upgrades includes better interior quality and noise reduction. These were key reasons Civic failed to receive a "recommended" status from Consumer Reports this past year.

"Building a good car isn't enough for us, we have to build a great car," John Mendel, Honda's executive vice president of sales in the US, said. "We think we can do better and the customer expects that and we will."1…

Inside, low resting seats and a high arching rear give optimal…

Honda Takes a More Aggressive Styling Approach

The Honda Civic has been a popular car among consumers largely due to the vehicle's dependable nature and strong brand backing.  Many might think redesigning it would be a risky move for Honda. But recently, sources have given us good reason to believe that the 2013 Civic model will see some invigorating style changes.

In one review, AutoGuide commented that the Civic Si needs "an injection of testosterone."1 Other Honda followers have brought up the model's lack of dramatic design. In a recent meeting, corporate big wigs and West Coast Honda Dealers, addressed complaints such as these…
