IIHS Top Safety Pick Awarded to the 2012 Honda Civic

The 2012 Honda Civic was one of six small cars to earn a Top Safety Pick title from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. To earn such a designation the Civic was pitted against thirteen other cars during the tests. Safety might be an understated but important factor driving the Civics growing popularity among consumers. Other factors include fuel efficiency, comfort, style, and budget.
